Rainbowdust CMC Tylo Powder used to make edible glue, petal paste, modelling paste.

This is a high grade, extra fine tylo  used to make modelling, pastes, flower paste & really strong glue that is suitable for all types of sugar work.

To make glue:

Use 1 tsp. of Tylo powder (CMC) approx. 30 tsp. of boiled cooled water. Mix water and powder in a container. Close with the lid and shake well, it will look lumpy at first. Leave overnight so the Tylo will dissovle into a clear thick gel. It should be kept in a refrigerator and away from direct sunlight. Change your tylo glue every second week. You can add more cooled boiled water if it gets too thick.

To create a quick gum/flowerpaste using fondant:

Add approx 1tsp of Tylo Powder to 250g of fondant & knead well. For best results, leave in a ziplock bag for about 10-15 mins.
